Description
This curry is named after Madras the major city in Southern India.
The people there eat very hot & spicy food and this is our version of a hot but deliciously vibrant curry
Other ingredients you will require:
1-1/2 lb (675g) meat of your choice
1 large onion, sliced long & thin
1/2 cup corn or vegetable oil
14oz (400g) tin of tomatoes
2 tblspns tomato puree
2 tblspns fresh lemon or lime juice
salt to season
The Spice packs 1 & 2 are included
Look out for the 4 dried chillies in the pack
Serves 4 people
Preperation time approx 15 mins
Cooking time approx 60 mins

I’m a curry monster and love a Madras. I’ve searched for ages to find a decent recipe to do at home to replicate my favourite dish and this one nails it. Best of all it isn’t too hot so it is likely to appeal to all if cooking for a crowd.

I mean it, we use to spend a small fortune on takeouts but now we just buy a big batch of these madrasses.You can tell even when your cooking it that its going to be great because of the smell. Its just like you get in the restraunt but better.I cant praise highly enough
