In this recipe the first onion is chopped and then whizzed in a blender to make a lovely base for the sauce and the second onion is sliced and added almost at the end of cooking so that it remains crunchy. This is a very easy to prepare and delectable but not overly spicy dish.
Other ingredients you will require:
1kg chicken breasts (diced) – (if you use on the chicken on the bone cooking time will increase)
1 large onion (chopped)
1 large onion (sliced)
4 tblspns veg. oil
1 small tin of tomatoes
175ml warm water
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
25g butter or ghee
salt to taste

Serves 3-4 people



Ginger, Garlic Powder, Turmeric, Coriander, Cumin, Chilli Powder, Cinnamon, Cardamon, Cloves, Bay leaves, hand blended in variable proportions
